We all know that we need to do more to help our environment including wasting less and recycling more. Dudley Council have designed this website as a simple guide to help residents recycle more at the kerbside.  If you have any suggestions on how to improve this website please let us know

Bin Collections

Bin collections are continuing as normal but we are asking residents who have been self-isolating to take extra care with the waste they are putting out for collection.

For those self-isolating because of symptoms, personal waste such as used tissues and disposable cleaning cloths can be stored securely within disposable rubbish bags.

These bags should be placed into a second bag, tied securely and kept separate from other waste. Where possible this should be put aside for at least 72 hours before being put in your usual external household waste bin or communal area. Other household waste can be disposed of as normal.

WHAT HAPPENS TO YOUR PLASTICS?

On the back of the BBC’s War on Plastics programme, a number of you have asked about what happens to the plastics we recycle in Dudley.
